The World Figure Skating Championships
were held in Copenhagen, Denmark this
year.
Torvill and Dean of Great Britain
again won the ice dancing gold, with
Scott Hamilton of the USA taking gold
in the mens singles event. Elaine
Zayak made it a double for the USA,
taking victory over Katarina Witt of
East Germany in the womens singles.
