Connors recovered from being  three points away from defeat in a  fourth-set tie-break (at 3-4) to win  the match, 3-6, 6-3, 6-7(2), 7-6(5),  6-4, and claim his second Wimbledon  title, eight years after his first.  Martina Navratilova defeated Chris  Evert Lloyd 6-1, 3-6, 6-2  It was Navratilova's 15th career Grand  Slam title and her 4th Wimbledon  singles title.     Tennis   Next       Prev       Home        End
