P175 BEEBFAX 122 Thu 31 Dec --:--/--                                                  The World Figure Skating Championships  were held in Helsinki, Finland this  year.  Torvill and Dean of Great Britain  again won the ice dancing gold, with  Scott Hamilton of the USA taking gold  in the mens singles event.  With the Olympic Games coming up next  year, it is thought that the continued  dominance of Hamilton and the British  dancing duo is likely to point to  medals for each of them in Sarajevo,  Yugoslavia.         Next       Prev       Home        End
